Sales Preparation
Kenmore Lodge has drafts entered at most of Australia’s annual thoroughbred sales which include weanlings, yearlings, 2yos (breeze-ups) and broodmares. Preparation and presentation at sales are vital components to achieving the best outcome for our clients.
Rearing
Few places in Australia would offer a better start to life for a thoroughbred than the Darling Downs of Queensland. Kenmore Lodge is fortunate to have large paddocks of rich pasture which lay the foundations for your foal to grow and develop. Expertise and attention to detail are the hallmarks of our thoroughbred nursery.
Agistment & Breaking
Situated less than 2 hours west of Brisbane, Kenmore Lodge is an ideal location for spelling racehorses. With sun on their back and ample feed, our spellers are given every chance to return to stable life refreshed and ready to hit the training track. Breaking-in and pre-training services are also provided.
